bloody hell. all models pointing towards a settled and dare i say it HOT week next week.

People might disagree with this, but I'm fairly sure the actual temperature wasn't that hot. Maybe 24/25 degrees but without a breeze or shade it felt about 30.

Probably right as official temperatures are measured in the shade but as we know there was no shade!

At this stage I'd say it's not out of the question, but unlikely. mid to high 20s certainly possible though!

I have been known to bring my wellies and leave them in the car,  that's the way I roll.

I just wear wellies no matter what anyway, because I actually quite enjoy stomping around in them and it's also extra protection near the long-drops
