Yr.no is showing the Wednesday afternoon into evening being uncomfortably hot for just about anyone but a lizard.  I'd take it over rain but 26 degrees is a bit much for carrying gear! If accurate, that's going to push anyone with a choice into arriving earlier.

Not what I am looking at, have you got the right Pilton?

The proper Pilton shows this:

There appears to be 2 Pilton's both next to each other showing different forecasts.

https://www.yr.no/place/United_Kingdom/England/Pilton~2640282/long.html This is the one in Somerset showing the high temps.

Shit!

Which one is right and has Pilton cloned?

Maybe this is the Big Secret - 2 Piltons with one used for fallow years.

Yes, I have the right Pilton.  The other two are forecast to be several degrees cooler.  I reloaded and it's showing the same 26c and Pylle gets 25c.  Weird.  Maybe refresh yours?

Eeeekkk - mine has now gone hot too!!

Though 21 at night would be cooler on the farm and actually really lovely - til the sun came up.

I'd stick on either of those Pilton's to be honest!

Shame the guy who accumulated all the forecasts into one graph isn't around anymore. I've just scoured the internet and looked a 5-6 different forescats that all show Wednesday and Thursday as hot and sunny.

Put it in a graph or it didn't happen

I deleted the second link I put as it's wrong.

But yeah, if I search for Pilton Somerset, it's definitely the correct one, I get 27C on my laptop.

Go to the same link on my phone, and it's much lower.

I think I must have been looking mid update - it now all shows as per yours.

The one comment I have is the wind direction, which means the high pressure is moving off to the east (or staying still).

If it did go east then it will suck up air from the Bay of Biscay and e all know what that means.

ECM 00Z showing the complete opposite end of the spectrum to the GFS.

Potentially getting towards (and past) 30 degrees by next thursday/friday!

So who will win out? Probably somewhere between the 2 is my guess!

It's an insane run, super hot, would produce > 30 c across the south followed by intense thunderstorms thursday/friday!
