stuartbert two hats
With this thread and the exit polls, I'm going to be seriously disappointed when I'm stood in 3 foot of mud in a country ruled by the Tories in 2 weeks. JoeyT
Most forecasts are coming together in agreement that next week & going in to next weekend the weather will be settled and increasingly warm in particular over the weekend. So all being well conditions when arriving on site will be a million times better than last year! At least the campervan fields will open on time
squirrelarmy
Todays Metcheck lottery shows the cancellation of the heatwave. This is now replaced by perfect festival weather. No warmer than 23 degrees, little fluffy clouds, gentle breezes and the slightest sprinkling of the wet stuff to keep the ground in good condition. Jsmooth
BBC App is showing sunny up until the 18th (as far as it goes), more good news today.

Weather patterns never last for more than a week. We've peaked a week early. Sure, theres no floods pre Glasto like last year but we're looking at more rain now when the festival is on. Very very worrying.

Nobody Interesting
Last year we all peaked too soon and got a rather nasty surprise. Let's not get it a bit wrong this year.

joeltg
Glastonbury Weather Added : 4 hours ago Glastonbury 2017 is fast approaching and this year the world-famous festival runs from June 21st until June 25th down on the Somerset Levels. Amongst the headline acts scheduled for this year are Katy Perry, Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran so with around 135,000 people expected to descend on the site in a couple of weeks time all eyes will be on the weather forecasts. In years gone by images of people wallowing around in mud seem to have been commonplace but could this year be different? So far the signs haven't been great with June getting off to a cool, unsettled and windy start as the traditional European Monsoon season got under way, but as we head towards mid-month and beyond there are growing signs from the numerical model output of high pressure beginning to take more of a foothold. There is some uncertainty over where this high may be centred, but a location close to the southwest of the UK is favoured at the moment which is promising news for Glastonbury. Taken directly from the Metcheck site, apologies if already posted.
lebenski
After painfully following over every comment in this thread last year for 3 weeks before the festival I promised myself that I wouldn't do the same this year. Alas, here I am. GIVE US SOME FUCKING SUN
