Ha yep I Am a Nightmare would have you believe they'd backtracked to a Your Favorite Weapon kind of sound, but nope, they've gone and done the complete opposite. Bits of Deja, Devil & God and Daisy and then a Brand New we've never heard before. This is too good. I really hope they announce a PROPER tour rather than the two dates they're doing later this year.

I'm on the Gizz now. Very nice, real refreshing switch around from the last one and exactly what I wanted to hear from them right now so far. Feels like a continuation of Paper Mache Dream Balloon with a whole jammy jazz thing going on too. Lovely!

I like Everything Everything, but the new album feels a bit 'too much of the same' for me. For my ears they certainly have a formula which is their own but they don't deviate much from. I'm not sure if I was expecting anything different. 

A Fever Dream and ivory Tower were the only tracks that really stood out for me

I've only heard a few Grizzly Bear songs before this album but I really like it, reminds me a bit of Crack-Up in that it sounds lovely and has some really great melodies but equally isn't that catchy, that's not a criticism though. 

Like fightoffyour I'm not feeling the hype about the Brand New album either. I'm not a huge fan outside of The Devil & God so I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as others on here but I'll give it a couple more listens today and see if it grows on me.
