That's good to hear! I've never got the chance to see them. Sadly there has always seemed to be someone clashing with them, like at Primavera this year. Will finally be putting that right at Field Day though

shoebox
Thee Oh Sees were one the best bands I saw at EOTR this year. This is an awesome addition!

scatteredscreens
Richard James is probably glad he's playing inside with the weather conditions at Day for Night in America but looked like a fantastic Aphex Twin show. Looking forward to Field Day!

Guy Incognito
ticket bought for third year in a row. Looking forward to more line up additions although there is already enough there for me to make the ticket worth the money!
aidenlangan95
Run the Jewels has been added to the lineup.
Guy Incognito
Great news! Do we think they'll be headlining? Edited January 23, 2017 by rhg_99

Nah, just posted this in the Glastonbury section but there's no way they're headlining over Aphex Twin. Aphex Twin being on the second stage leads me to believe they'll have a pretty big (in comparison to previous years) headliner to make up for the loss of a day, and RTJ ain't that (although still a great booking on what's looking to be a phenomenal lineup) edit: although this http://thequietus.com/articles/21622-run-the-jewels-field-day says they're closing the main stage, so either there's a headliner on before them or I'm talking out of my arse Edited January 23, 2017 by FloorFiller
Guy Incognito
Field Day's post on facebook and Instagram says that Run The Jewels are closing the Eat Your Own Ears Stage, which is the main stage Edited January 23, 2017 by rhg_99
Zoo Music Girl
So on that basis Run the Jewels are headlining? And clashing with Aphex? I'm going for Aphex, so not particularly bothered, although I would have given RTJ a go.
dentalplan
That'd suit me. I like the idea of seeing Aphex Twin live but watching back his live sets on YouTube, I couldn't imagine enjoying it for more than fifteen mins. Love his music but I guess I'd have to admit I'm a rock-head when it comes to live music.
addicted2noise
Great addition but I was still hoping for Bon Iver to headline, maybe they're doing the Coachella thing of having the main act second last?

Could possibly be something a bit more low key (like Bon Iver) and they're having Run the Jewels finish the night with a bang ... Or maybe it's just Run the Jewels headlining
Tuna
New additions... ABRA, Ame, Arab Strap, BEAK>, Clams Casino, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Forth Wanderers, Idris Ackamoor & The Pyramids, Kite Base, Lady Leshurr, Machinedrum, Manuela, Marc Riley, PC Music shitfest (Danny L Harle & AG Cook), Pictish Trail, Rae Morris, Run The Jewels, Sinkane, Thee Oh Sees BEAK> is the big yes from me out of that lot - having already assumed RTJ and Aphex are gonna clash
retromoz
Arab Strap aside, its not inspiring for me....

pryce
Aphex Twin Nina Kraviz Jon Hopkins (DJ) Moderat Marcel Dettmann Dekmantel Soundsystem That's the Barn Lineup happy with Moderat being faily low, reduces risk of some clashes

Aphex Twin definitely seems like the bigger deal of the two - maybe that stage is just more suitable for his show despite being smaller. Quite content with doing the whole thing by myself as it's only a day festival but company is always better - feel free to drop me a message
