glimmers_of_hope
Snow patrol are preparing new music for this year I believe. Could be a good shout. Low pressure daytime slot. Played a few years ago on the 10th anniversary as a tiny secret set so must be friendly with the festival.

aidenlangan95
Extremely disappointing. They didn't even headline, if we're getting technical.

some dude
How exactly does the special guest thing work in terms of set length / time of day playing? What makes it different from just being on the line up as per?

Rose-Colored Boy
Considering it could've been Elbow or Snow Patrol I'll take that tbh
finn_with_1_n
Here's an update on A Blaze of Feather - including the debut track from them http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/features/a-blaze-of-feather-band-ben-howard-mickey-smith-music-festivals-citadel-latitude-a7706951.html
dentalplan
They seem pretty big at the moment - perhaps bigger than when they were booked to headline - so it seems a coup from Latitude. But it's another horrendous band added to a lousy day.
OddRon
is this Arcade Fire/Chvrches thing got any source behind it for next year or just guessing?

It allows them to put 'special' on the poster, so people presume they're getting something special for their money. Where would the world be without marketing, eh? Alwenman
Hi all, I've got a quick question to ask on behalf of my mum and sister: They're planing to do latitude for the first time (I've never been either but can't attend as I'm at Benicassim festival) and are wondering if they will ID my sister (who just turned 13 a few days ago) as they would rather buy the child ticket for £10 (up to age 12) than a youth ticket for much more. any advice would be much appreciated, am annoyed I can't attend as the lineup is looking nice this year. Thanks Edited April 30, 2017 by Alwenman

Thanks Parents may be asked to provide ID with proof of age if the child appears to be over 13 but holding a Child Ticket. Don't take any chances - bring proof of age. Lets look at the situation if they do get caught - they will then end up in a situation where your Parents get in but your sister does not. So what are they going to do then ? sure they may be offered the chance to buy the correct ticket but they may not., No one can see into the future so while some may claim ' dont worry about it ' they are not the one who has to deal with the problem its a very risky venture. The only way I could see them featuring is if they played above Jack Garratt and then flew to Canada straight after.
