Surely if TRNSMT could get away with classing AM as a uk exclusive they would. Not a “only announced UK festival show” could have quite easily said “only announced UK show” etc.

I always thought Blossoms were far bigger than The Hunna, but looking at spotify streams they're about the same level of popularity, and that's with Blossoms having a huge amount of support from the BBC and have played third down at Reading, main stage at Glasto and supported Courteeners, The Charlatans, the Stone Roses and Liam Gallagher. The Hunna are far more popular than even I realised.

Haven't really been keeping up with this, difficult when there's 15 pages every time I get home But are Foos not looking likely now? I've had Foos - Kendrick and a coheadline  in mind for a while, but the last couple of pages seem to be mentioning others?

But they could have quite easily said that anyway seeing as both were true at the time?

Do you mean they could have said "only UK festival show" rather than "only announced UK festival show"? If so I agree that seemed a bit strange but things like this always happen and we never know why.

Could be because there's no Glasto and they've used that in the worst way possible. I don't think they will, though.

We have no clue. Even the people who have come through with reliable info before are being told different stuff. We're just waiting it out now.

That festivalsaregood guy who correctly told us Catfish were playing APE and The Killers headlining Latitude said the last he heard was that AM, Flo and Kendrick are headlining but it was a few weeks back and things may have changed. Someone else had also been told Foos aren't there.

@festivalsaregood had heard a couple of weeks ago that the headliners were Florence & the Machine, Kendrick and Arctics.

He's had info for other festivals in the past that have all proven to be right (Catfish @ APE, The Killers @ Latitude). However there's also been so much info suggesting AM won't be there over the last few weeks, so it's all a bit confusing really.

Nah booking KoL wouldn't be taking advantage of that. Pretty sure Glasto wouldn't go near them now, either. Booking Pixies (as has been discussed in the past) or acts like Radiohead, The National, The xx, etc. would be taking advantage of no Glasto.

Fair enough, cheers! Yeah AM make a lot more sense than Foos outside of this forum I think, I'm sure most are expecting AM. Will be intersting to see what announcement they go for, hopefully the secondary one we've had recently with the three heads so I can decide on a day ticket!

Recent Festival lineup announcements have led me to be more confident that they are and surely they're not an exclusive to TRNSMT

Tbf if the headliners are Flo, Kendrick & AM then that's kinda taken advantage of no Glastonbury, considering two of those have headlined Glastonbury in the past and Kendrick is pretty certain to in the next few years.

Yeah I'm pretty sure he has in the past but has also had incorrect info. To be fair to him he always acknowledges this when he shares info with us and accepts it could easily be wrong.

It was sleeping with sirens & pierce the veil co-headlining either second stage at Download or Slam Dunk. I suspect i misinterpreted it considering they both ended up playing at Download in some capacity.

BMTH at Reading transpired to be a load of crap, sorry about that one.
