From wallys bar post on fb :)

A bit of site gossip for you;
The new Shagrila crew bar is not on our old pitch. It is in the Shangri arena, with access being down some steps off the old railway line just beyond the entrance to Maceo's. Like Maceo's it is a club type venue, with its own range of non site booze, some craft lines plus Handmade Cider (under the new name PressHead).
Apparently Maceo's crew are not talking to Shangrila crew because the bar is called Replaceo's!

Most definitely. So the three brew bars are at the glade, the markets between the Pyramid / Other / WG and then the shortcut between the Pyramid and SH. Also a beer bus at the Cineramageddon.

Exciting times.

What be the best day to do a bar crawl, and has anyone ever made a golden mile esc map of one???

This would be amazing. I mean, it's the height of laziness on our part, but we have the Glasto experts here and I'd love to show off the best of Glasto bars to our newbie friends without missing anything.

Wonder if this has any connection to the Brooklyn thing?

I think the Craft Tavern in the Theatre fields is the one pouring the Brooklyn beers (and, I assume Grimbergen and the other Carlsberg distributed 'craft' lines etc).

The Theatre bar itself has had Grimbergen and some other European ales the past couple of years. The Craft Tavern appears to be something separate.

What is the bar called that sells mead around one of the main drags of stalls etc? if I remember its opposite one of the stalls that sells poi and other circus gear, weve made a stop there last few years, you can buy cups of the stuff or a bottle (small coke bottle size) 2 or 3 bottles and you start feeling merry, its so easy to drink you forget its wine strength rather then beer strength stuff haha.

Had to drop my Mrs off at the trailer early when we got the taste of it one evening.

Fourth trip back to it I couldn't find it, even with the inflatible wine bottle rising from it:)

Is that the Common Room, on the walk between the Other and Pyramid when you go round the west side?
