Worthy view questions

Just a few simple questions 

1 is there a cash machine on worthy do you get charged are there massive queues for it.

2 do most bars food places take cards

3 are there lock ups on worthy do they have big queues . 

Just trying to work out what's best cash cards or more of one than other .

I would recommend taking cash and the card machines do charge. The queues won't be as mad as regular lock ups but if you expect queues then if there aren't any you'll be chuffed!

1) There wasn't a cash point at WV in 2014 & 2015. Cash points are on the main site only.

2) Not generally. Take cash.

3) No lock ups as your car is literally 5 to 10 mins walk away at WV. Nearest lock up on the main site is about 100 yards down the hill on the left once you've entered the main site from Pennard Hill Gate, opposite the entrance to the stone circle field. Use that lock up to store your wellies if it's sunny, as you don't want to be having to run all the way back to WV in the event of a sudden thunderstorm (and they can be of apocalyptic proportions at Glastonbury, trust me!). They will also charge your mobile phone for a fee.

Just thought of another question, sorry!  At the moment it looks like it would be most convenient to leave Sheffield around 6 on the Wednesday morning which would mean that (with a straight run) we could be at WV by around 10 o'clock. Would we hit much festival traffic if we did that, do you think?  I can't work out from the map where we have hit queues in past years but think that we may avoid much of them at that time if we come down the west side of the festival site and through Shepton Mallett etc.  All thoughts would be welcome - the car is going to be really packed with five of us and all our stuff in it and we're trying to minimise the amount of time and discomfort and, therefore, the amount of niggling!  Cheers.

Can't really say what the traffic will be like as it can depend a lot on how quick the access points into the car parks clear and the weather. If your coming down via Shepton Mallet then you will be on the East side and not the West!!

Now you can see why there might be some irritation in the car as I try to navigate!
