D'Angelo pulled out and was replaced last minute by Sigur Rós who were around which explains why Glasto wasn't included in their 2 UK dates and why they are on WH.

Also means they're Saturday.

Sick.

The flaw in your theory is that sigur ros are on both posters- if they were a last minute replacement for D'Angelo, they wouldn't of been on the D'Angelo poster

Just did and can't say it grabbed me. As someone said, just bland r'n'b. Mary J Blige slot for sure.

Not sure how you can listen to Black Messiah and say it's just bland r'n'b

The big point that needs making is...

"What the fuck happens to the thingy?" - If D'angelo does play, are yesterdays events mentioned or does it just have the full poster / next poster announcement?

Glasto HQ didn't think of that did they?

You're telling me, the bastards!

This is not unprecedented though. In 2005 The Killers briefly appeared on the website as a replacement for Kylie, only to disappear again and not show up until the next festival in 2007.

i'm quite surprised by the dull comments, i'm on my 3rd listen through Black Messiah and it's the exact opposite of dull

it's absolutely riddled with funk

I agree- reminds me of There's a Riot Going On- I'm very pleased the poster debacle has led to me discovering this album!

I was thinking about this too much also and trying to make some sort of tedious connection between the pink text and the colour of the logo seen on Radiohead's website recently

Isn't the poster designed by the guy who does Radiohead's artwork? Or did I imagine that

Just got an email - the poster has been updated - most obvious change D'Angelo has been added above Beck.

I'm confused....who emailed you?  do you have a notification set up to ping if the site changes?

sorry what I meant is that I won't be able to see them due to clashes, if they are headlining anywhere Fri or Sat I'm screwed :(

Ah, that looks quite likely unfortunately. There's still the tiny hope they might be 2nd on the Other Stage, or something, but I doubt it'll happen. Sorry to hear :(
