FLARES @ LEEDS

Recommended Posts

Me and my friend are going to take a couple of hand held flares to leeds festival this year. Anyone here got any tips or personal experience on flares at festivals? Don't bother telling me im a c**t or how you're going to point security straight to me - Im there to have fun not adhere to your comfort levels.

What a delightful member of society our Mandy seems to be.

My one and only tip for using a flare at a festival is to not be a c**t and ensure those around you are safe whilst you use it  otherwise fill your boots/ arse

dont see the problem with them. a hand held one would't hurt anyone as its designed to be in close proximity to you. lights the set up and from my experience people love them. you're pobably the lot that stand right at the back where you get a better view on bbc3.

Yes a flaming torch is always going be a fantastic idea held aloft by the inebriated in a crowed area. Certainly the sort of place they was designed to be set off.

No need to worry about that on here, I do it at every gig I go to. It's sort of half me being an utter LAD, half me signalling to Millwall's youth firm where I am. On a side note, who is a more genius lyricist, Liam Fray or Jake Bugg? Obviously neither are as godly as Alex Turner though.

I'd say Liam Fray
