Adele has confirmed she is headlining on Saturday night- not sure how this will go.

I imagine it'll probably go fairly well.

I'm sure she will do great and put on a top performance. BBC will be all over it and hail it as an all time great Glastonbury moment. I just don't think it will be the sort of performance to turn naysayers into believers. I get what Adele is, I've seen the videos of her on the current tour and it just isn't for me.

huge booking for the festival - worldwide festival exclusive (probably for a while i'd imagine). just hope it all goes well for her

As nice as it would have been to see Radiohead, I'm not disappointed in the slightest that I get to see Adele instead. I've seen Muse & Coldplay before so it'll be a nice change.

I have never seen them! I only really know the older stuff. South of Heaven is fab. Gonna have to get my metal on now!

We all knew we weren't getting a Radiohead headline slot when Adele was in the running. 

If no one else is worth watching I'll be there crying in to my cider when the opening lines of 'when we were young' begin.

A mate of mine who works there full time and has for decades texted me to tell me..... a post or two later was admin replying to my post saying he had just heard Adele had booked a hotel locally. Yes, there were rumours , but from what I heard it was only actually finalised recently.
