My wild guess... Pet Shop Boys & Tame Impala. Both look like they have new albums out next year.

Mystery Jets somewhere on the line-up too?

Doves / LCD Soundsystem / Massive Attack or Bjork

All of those are a great shout, wouldnt disagree (or be disappointed) with any of them, and they all seem to fit into the vibe of the festival. Maybe a bit strong to have three of those. Might also add Elbow into the frame as well, having payed Jodrell Bank before and also being from Manx

Bjork I'd say is probably a no, considering she's already on an arena tour at the moment, her last UK festival show wasn't great and didn't sell well and it'll be even further away from an album cycle for her.

Tame Impala are out as their London show is a UK exclusive.

Mogwai would be great but they're definitely subs rather than headliners.

Anyone have any ideas when we are due an announcement? Do we think they have gone back to their earlier March 1st announcement like previous years (last year seemed a one off due to Kraftwerk)

Massive Attack apparently doing Primavera, which means they're probably doing festivals next year, so they're a very good shout for headliner.

yeah right size too, could go with this :)

Massive Attack have previously demanded other fests basically hit pause on everything else going on on site though. Not sure the organisers would go for that.

Not at any of the host of festivals I've seen them at...

What about Portishead, are they a shout?

Portishead would be amazing but Surely there’s no chance. They’ve played like one show in about ten years and that was at Glastonbury. Also Geoff has Beak now. Who I would love to see at Bluedot!

i see Iggy POP has just been announced at  all points east. That makes him possible.

I would be very happy with LCD Soundsystem/  Pet Shop Boys / Massive Attack.

Are LCD rumoured to be touring? Would love those 3, but haven't heard anything about LCD but may have missed it.

Don’t know anything about LCD Other than they were mentioned on this thread and I would love to see them at blue dot. Reckon Tame Impala are a shout as somebody has mentioned.
