you're seeing screwed formatting because your browser hasn't loaded the new formatting file.

Do Crtl-F5 to force a full refresh (it'll look much better for it :P).

That probably won't make the ads go away (I need to look into that), but please let me know if it does.

It does indeed look much better but does, as you say, still have the ads.

Hi Neil, just something that might help others. 

A long time ago I put efests into the compatability mode option on IE, I think to try to sort out the not being able to post pictures thing.

Anyway, the new site was awful, all over the place and I couldn't even post on the forums (some might say a good thing).  Just found the compatability mode bit, removed it. Lovely now.

Hi, it looks like signing in as anonymous doesn't always hold. I was checking something out and got a mate to sign in as anon, yet he showed as online a short while after, without having changed anything. We're both on IEv11.

Thanks. I guess that's a minor bug in the forums software somewhere.

Hopefully it's already been addressed in the v4.1 version which will be available fairly soon.

not any more, it shouldn't.

If the ads re-appear while you're clicking around the main part of the site, it will probably be because the main part of the site isn't properly detecting when people are logged in - I'm not sure if that's actually happening or not, tho (there's another backend issue that's suggesting it might be).

Just wanting to edit my Signature but cannot due to the upgrade, or failing to do something that can be done. My existing one (that looked like a Pyramid) doesn't look like a Pyramid any more.

You need one of these mate

you have to go to 'account settings' under the profile dropdown top right (on desktop view) to reach your signature, that had me foxed for a while

On the rumours page I am getting the stuff on the RHS cut off and no bottom scroll bar.

Also happens on the home page and probably others.
