In related news, the European tour is underway, and they're not only playing barely anything new, but they're still opening with Yr City's A Sucker rather than Us V Them. Not sure what's up with that. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/lcd-soundsystem/2017/vega-copenhagen-denmark-be2cda6.html

Keep all the songs, but get mans like Other Voices and Emotional Haircut and How Do You Sleep in there and all.

Naw, actually, grow some goddamn cajones, Murphy; beef that motherfucker up with new songs. Open up with Call the Police, close with Tonite, get all the new jams in between. Have some conviction!

Yeah I mean it's supposed to be a new album tour after all! Not necessarily any need to cut anything, two hours/twenty songs should be the bare minimum set length for any band on their fourth album tour, let alone a band who specialise in songs lasting seven minutes. But that said if something does need to go, surely nobody would mind if Daft Punk and/or You Wanted A Hit were rested for a few months. They're gonna have to drop one of them to squeeze in Christmas Will Break Your Heart at those December shows in Brooklyn at the very least

Nah New York is one of the best LCD moments there is.

Wouldn't mind I Can Change or one of Tribulations/Movement going

Yeah i agree with this, would be quite happy to see the ones you mentioned being dropped in favour of bringing back New York and another new one like Oh Baby. To be honest the two new ones they've added are probably my least favourite from the album so I wouldn't mind if they get changed up too.

I really like the sound of the album for the most part with the gloomier post-punk influence, but the only two tracks that stand out as particular favourites are American Dream and Oh Baby.

Least favourites are Other Voices and Emotional Haircut. I guess they're supposed to be the more fun moments, but with both I feel like they've done very similar before and better, and generally the most interesting stuff is that which moves further away from what they've always been good at. Also a big part of it might be that I’m just not as in to his style of vocal delivery on those songs anymore, or the overall tone.

I Used To, Change Yr Mind, and How Do You Sleep is a good run of songs. Lukewarm on Tonite and Call The Police as singles, but they both function better in the context of the album and its pacing (like each brings what I feel the album could do with at exactly the right time, or something). Black Screen is a nice closer.

Ah I do reasonably like the album but it's telling that I can't think of a track off it that I'd rather have over one from their reunion setlists.

Good point though I can't help but feel this is because I've seen all those songs live (twice) relatively recently  and had such a great time whereas obviously I haven't with the new stuff.

I'd probably pick how do you sleep?/oh baby/tonight/call the police over the few I mentioned earlier. Probably.

I am super excited about next week. And Shit Robot and Joe Goddard. Heaven. Joe at Glastonbury was a highlight.

If anyone knows of a single spare ticket going for the Tuesday night in Glasgow next week please let me know. My number wan musical adventure buddy hasn't got one and the person who got mine has no spare...

Still having issues with getting a ticket. Keep missing out on Twickets by moments each and every time. Fingers crossed for some production tickets to be released next weekend.

If youre doing it via email notification switch to the app. It'll notify you faster. Also try the ticketswap app, thats how I got mine.

Think Call the Police will become a live favourite. That bass line is fantastic.
