DDave
Looks like the Wilco thing is actually for Vida Festival. They're announcing a headliner tomorrow, and their site features a logo in the same style as the Wilco thing in Barcelona: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CRNTVrPWsAAOzQj.jpgVida Festival announced the Divine Comedy as the first band today. dentalplan
Looks like there could be something forthcoming from Husker Du. Would think them a certainty for Primavera if they reunited.

FloorFiller
not the greatest set of headliners for me (although Frank Ocean being one of them is more than enough for me) but that would be a fantastic lineup - probably too much so. clashes would be maddening
DanielM17
Yeah, I'd be very very happy with it, even though there is no big headliner that borders on "huge" or "mainstream".
Nesser
Black SabbathA bunch of medium acts (Tame Impala, Beach House, Deerhunter. Consider LCD Soundsystem as the bigger act of this day if they're reuniting)Massive/mainstream headlinerNot a leak, not an inside source but you can be sure this is 80% accurate. Just a little research after knowing (for several years) how they book and work with several bands.

I reckon they might be playing Rock in Rio Lisbon. Primavera looks like only possible festival in Spain for them, but as u said RaR looks like better option for them. Nesser
Sabbath are playing a German arena on June 8th. In fact they announced the European leg just a few weeks ago so I think it's pretty clear that they're not playing any German festival, especially the same fucking month lol.Primavera staff love to mess around with different genres when conforming the line up. It's usual to see Pitchfork-approved-heavy bands like Deafheaven or Earthless. Besides, they booked Nine Inch Nails (with Kendrick Lamar playing just before them) the same year they booked Arcade Fire so I reckon Sabbath fit perfectly. Their actual tour dates and that gap between Hungary and Germany seems like a confirmation for me.
FloorFiller
would be surprised to see Sabbath booked myself, but stranger things have happened

Germany is the country with the biggest hard rock/metal following in the world and I don't think Black Sabbath's farewell there would be relegated to just one 20k capacity arena show when there are plenty of German festivals in the middle of their tour. Particularly to pass it up to do a Spanish show when they've not bothered playing Spain for nearly twenty years. DDave
Good to see some announcements from other festivals around the same time as PS coming through. I'd love the Hives and Digitalism from hurricane/Southside. Two Door Cinema club seem a likely act for PS too. DanielM17
I think Foals and Tame Impala aren't far off the likes of alt-j in terms of headlining.
DDave
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the Stone Roses will headline PS & Glastonbury and play Old Trafford Cricket Club all in the same month next year.
Dietediet
Jamie XX confirmed in an interview that his solo venture is over soon and that next year is about the new The XX album. Another headliner candidate then.
