It's worth noting the original list is now several years old, hence the sky lanterns. I do still read it when it crops up though even though my own list has evolved over the last 7 years and I know I don't need anything else, so thanks for finding it

Thanks for that. I'm not grumpy and realise that its just an exhaustive check list to use as a reminder. Its helped me a lot, just been running around throwing a few practical bits on the pile that I would have forgotten. Like the pillowcases which I mean to bring every year and every year I forget. Not this year my friend!!! :D

Right...

to save repeat thread syndrome...I have gone a bit of a harvest and have collated a list to end all lists.

Its sort of in order and lists everything that has been suggested to take to a fest since 2003.

BASICALLY...it is pretty much everything/anything you could possibly need or want to take to Glasto, or any fest for that matter...it is NOT a list that needs to be utterly adhered to...merely an extremely long check list for one and all to tick off against!

There are the usual things then there are additional tranklements that are not necessarily needed.

PLEASE dont do a quote in reply if possible cos once you see the size of this list you will see why.

So here it is...I have gone as far back looking at old lists...enjoy!

IF there is ANYTHING else that you can think of...I wish you luck my friends...please just post afterwards!!!

..a team of sherpas to carry that lot?

Seriously, jeans, shorts, 5 days of t-shirts, socks and pants, coat, sleeping bag, tent.  I don't take a whole lot more than that.

I'm with you lol.
