Do we have any idea what is going to be up the hill by the sign where those airplane steps are? Could the thing to the left be that old aircraft body that used to be in SE Corner, face on to the camera, ready to be lifted up to create some kind of viewing platform? Like the top of ribbon tower, or the one near Acoustic Field?

Yes, there was a video of it on the back of a truck going through the site on one of the Glastonbury "mole" or "insider" accounts yesterday and someone said that it was now up by the sign.

That is the Lotus up in the park it’s currently in 2 parts with airport ladder to the left ( presumably for people to climb and make sacrifices ) and to the left some brown flame like additions … at the bottom are a few water troughs surrounding it … probably to catch burning embers which will be hidden by the metal flame addition is my guess

Don't forget when we get on site there's still two full days of build for the main stages. That's a lifetime in event management.

It does at present 😟

I'm surprised someone might have said 'oh just stick the last one back up'.

I wonder if, as well as being a cost cutting exercise.. the peace sign could be appropriate given the current situation in Ukraine..
