Glastocam!

Popped to the site today (via Mary's Gate) for the briefest of looks after a meal in Glastonbury town.

Very peaceful, with still quite a bit of festival stuff knocking around, with only one tractor rolling as a sign of life (who smiled and waved as the guys always do).

Very wet underfoot (echoes of 2016!!!)...

Looks like the pyramid skin is about to come off :(

I have a strange relationship with this webcam lol, depending on the time of year I look at in either hope, excitement, or a kind of wistful mild sorrow.

The build up kept me going through many a day

Yep. I watched Kate Tempest doing "people's faces" from another performance today, was quite good.  Stuck the Glasto version of the same song on. Blubbering wreck immediately!

Funny innit... Same artist, same song, different location... All good. Watch a re-run from Glasto and you have all of the emotion you had at the time you were there, and blubbering wreck sums up alot of my Glastonbury, from sheer happiness!

The Glasto performance was much better too though.

Obvs! Just been reading your Kate Tempest thread 3 pages back. Sounds incredible. I always come home wishing I'd seen something I'd missed that someone else had seen and said was amazing... But I was clearly having the time of my life elsewhere. I'm going to have to Youtube Kate Tempest when I get home from work.
