Beaver89
I'm torn between Blur and FM for hoping. Would LOVE to see Fleetwood Mac but a the same time would like it to be Blur to guarantee a night away from the Pyramid (hopefully at Chems!) klipper
Speculation, I remember you said in 2013 they definitely did ask other acts for the sunday even though Mumford were pencilled. I wonder if they had Florence in mind, asked a few people one last time but one said yes? Potentially? Possibly? I don't know. No reason for florence to hold back an announcement. Fleetwood Mac, despite previous statements, seems like the most logical act to hold back an announcement (until IOW has sold out most probably). FirsG
I'm thinking Blur.
Hugh Jass
With damon seemingly on good terms with the eavii (he stepped in in 2010 with the gorillaz didn't he) this actually seems to make some sense if the headliner was indeed a late booking (i.e. after they had said they weren't playing) Edit: actually can't really see why blur would need to delay their announcement. Given how poorly BST appears to be selling I could understand them holding off as long as possible. A Glasto announcement would finish them off. Splatt
Personally hope it's not Blur they can't top 2009 in my eyes and would be a shame to return so soon.

Zero_Newnab
Fleetwood having to play 3 nights in a row still seems to make them unlikely, right? I reckon they were gunning for Prince, couldn't get him, then asked Blur and Damon was up for it.
Comfy Bean
Popped down the offy and back to this news. Nice work sir :-) If...it's a replacement type situation, blur or Coldplay seem to be the ones who would be a phone call away. Had been starting to look forward to Prince. CaledonianGonzo
The Mac are still stymied by number of nights on the bounce though.....(?)
klipper
I'd be happy with Fleetwood Mac, grew up listening to their tunes and got an "attachment to the band" nostalgically, but if something else takes my fancy (Patti Smith please) my dad got the whole family tickets for their o2 gig in 2013, so I wouldn't feel I'd be missing out on a one-off opportunity. I don't think they're particularly adverse to doing multiple nights in a row (particularly two), three might be a stretch but I don't think it's enough to rule them out. dentalplan
The Mac are still stymied by number of nights on the bounce though.....(?) Yep. I wonder how difficult it would be to move one of those dates now.
Gucci Piggy
If it's a late replacement and they haven't just bumped Flo up then I'm impressed. If the act is a late replacement and they're being held back then I'd go for Blur.
Hugh Jass
Why is three nights in a row such an issue? I know they're not young anymore but surely they can still do it. I'd have a trouser accident if it was the Mac.

A Glasto announcement would finish them off. This may be true, but I'd surprised if they didn't sell out hyde park regardless or have most people woken up and realised it's a pretty shit venue by now? wozwebs
Blur could be delayed announcement as their BST show hasn't sold out yet. EDIT: just saw same said above. Mate saw them in Hyde park, said venue shite Edited April 11, 2015 by wozwebs

Gucci Piggy
Blur were bangin' when I saw them in 2013. May not live up to 2009 but I'd still be there with bells on.
