talking of Twitter - anyone know how I can post the URLs of stories to twitter and add an image?

On a phone or laptop? I've had a look at twitter on my phone, and you can add an image from your phone or by taking one, by pressing the 'write' icon, then the 'camera' icon. If you copy the URL from the browser, you should also be able to paste it in the tweet window (long press on the screen till you get the paste option). Not ideal, but it may help.

It's not quite that he's wanting to do.

Scott made this tweet from the efests account:-

but when it was re-tweeted by 'Mark Ronson Top News' it included the photo that's part of the article, like twitter somehow did it automatically:-

Does It only work like that If using the share button straight from the article rather than just posting a link?

Gotcha. Short answer is I've no idea. However, sometimes in the browser for eFests, the link doesn't resolve to a picture or video. Could this be that scenario?

I've added a bit more detail to The Thingy.

Corrected  a couple of dates, added some smaller stage announcements and put in links (from 2009 onwards) to the official announcements where I could find them.

Lily Allen was confirmed at the same time as Blur for 2009, by Michael at the NME Awards. Here's a link:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7912622.stm

Damon also confirmed Blur at the NME Awards that year:

if you look back thru  the Glasto news, you should get everything.

I've used a few where there was nothing on the official.

I did a few searches for the older stuff but kept getting a securIty warning. I was on my work laptop so It may have been the I overly sensitive security settings on that. I'll give It a go on my home on later.

Patterns!!

Patterns!?!?!?

The Thingy does not see any patterns.

The patterns are there, something to do with the fullness of the moon, the amount of rainfall in the past week and the number of cows in the field, when they all align a headliner is released.

I've made a number of updates thanks to this. Now goes back to 2000, added a number of links and learned some stuff. Ta.

Updated Thingy.

Oh Thingy Lord, may we have the previous secret sales added to the timeline, to give an indication of the 2016 dates, and if I'm not asking too much is there any pattern to the times these sales magically appear?

Very pertinent to me as I'm away for the likely resale date and at the very least need to keep these possible dates absolutely free of other stupid things like Life getting in the way of important issues.
