Right, so the coach tickets are a package of travel and standard entry, yeah?

Yep, have to get the coach to get your ticket (given mid-journey).

Two years ago the only ticket a mate could get was for a coach from Edinburgh. He was in London. So he had to get a train to Edinburgh from London on the Wednesday evening, and a bus down to Glasto from Scotland at 6am on the Thursday morning!

Thanks for the link, finally a date!

Wonder whether general tickets will be on the 26th or mid-week this time round (like the coach resale was last year)

One of my friends couldn't make it as she starts her internship that week, so there's one ticket going back in the pot for you guys :)

Exactly the same reason i could no longer go, as my Internship starts on the 22nd June.

I was gutted to be putting my ticket back in but you've got to think of the long game sometimes

Me and the wife finally made the tough decision of not trying for tickets in the resale.

We're taking the kiddies to lattitude and need a new family tent so no matter how we crunch the numbers we can't put everything together financially to do both festivals within the three weeks of each other.

Fucking gutted ! My brother is going to tie me at 7:7 this year !

Please don't let it be that week as will rule me out being before payday :fie:

    • some point this week the insta post says
    • I guess we should also not underestimate that the Slowdive sound person is probably not quite used to open-air daytime performances in such a large, open area. 🙂 I imagine it's very different from mixing the sound in a tent. Plus, even though I was openminded about it at first - you never know how things might sound or work out in a different setting if you don't try - I just don't think their sound is very suited for this kind of setting, it really benefits from darkness and a nice light show and all that. Still, nice that they got to give it a try.
    • i agree, was really disappointed by the Slowdive sound (we were fairly close to the podium) also if you consider that for all other main stage acts i saw they got it perfectly right.
    • Thanks man for sharing your thoughts. I would say i generally agree with you and do agree people close to the podium should position themselves further back if they want to have full conversations and apparently are not interested in the music; to fair it is mind boggling these people are even there as chatting gets so much easier in the back field. That said i did not really have the same experience as you, front rows for example at MBV, Men I trust, Big Thief, NewDad, Slowdive, where really into the music.    yes i BBK is really high on our list but we just realized it is next year 25 years of Primavera so perhaps we do one more.
    • When does the Thursday lineup get announced? I see they had Moonchild Sanelly and Young Knives last year, would be cool to get something along those lines again.
