you sound like my old man haha.....britneys sold a lot of albums so she must be good eh? critcally acclaimed and `popular` mean nothing other then you were marketed well in todays music world.....talent is something very different but lets not go there or this will drag on all night :P

fucking hell. well he's not THE MOST critically acclaimed artists of the 00's, but he's ONE OF the most. d;'you want me to give you his ranking in the top 100 or something?

Sure why not, rather than using some bullshit meaningless phrase. It's a perfectly reasonable booking, but trying to justify it by using a lame-duck phrase like 'he's one of the most praised artists' is bollocks. It's like saying Shed Seven are one of the most praised British rock bands in history. He sells a lot of records and gets a lot of Radio One airplay, which matters when it comes to Pyramid Stage headliners.

I don't think you know what critically acclaimed means, it has nothing to do with album sales? I mean every album he releases is highly praised and always tops "Best of 20__" lists by people who are paid to listen to hundreds of different styles, genres and musicians from all over the world

alright yeah, because everybody else's justifications that he shouldn't be headlining are all well thought out and have points to back them up. shut up mate
