Who are your certs though?

AC has stated that they are still working on their 3rd headliner.

He has also said that Download France could have different headliners to Donington.

He has also said that he hasn't started work on the undercard as the headliners are priority. Which is the opposite of Sonisphere whereby quite a few low card bands are starting to be heavily rumoured.

These are the headliners I've heard for around Europe -

Rock am Ring - SOAD - Muse - ???

SOAD have been rumoured for Download for quite a while now, Muse played Download this year.

Hellfest - Def Leppard - Bon Jovi - Black Sabbath

Def Leppard have been rumoured for Sonisphere for over a year.

The general feeling in Europe is that Maiden have agreed to play all DEAG promoted events, whether that includes Sonisphere I'm not sure as technically they're a partner.

Glastonbury - Foo Fighters - ??? - ???

Pinkpop - Foo Fighters - ??? - ???

David Gilmour is apparently playing a Stadium in France in July. As are AC/DC in June.

You've heard Muse are doing a fest in Germany that they physically can't as they have gigs on two of the days already?

You have copied Zegut for two of Hellfest and just used logic for FF at Pinkpop and Glasto - you may as wel have just put Wertcher in too.

You used to do this all the time on Soni forums before and basically like me, you know and have heard nothing.

British Summer Time seems like a good bet for them then. I just can't see Download having them.

If this means Nickelback then it's probably BST over anything. They are big to their own fans but fuck all to others.

I haven't copied Zegut at all, he's only mentioned Bon Jovi as far as I'm aware.

Why would I throw in logic and say werchter as well for Foos when I haven't heard anything for that festival.

You're quick to slate other people, but then make new guesses for festivals everyday and say that you're right.

This is laughable! I rarely make guesses for festivals a lot these days.

Why wouldn't you?, the only reason people would mention them for Pinkpop is for the same reason as Werchter.

And you have nothing to say on the fact that Muse can't play RAR, they are playing arena's in Germany and Czech Republic. Our metalicbear has been found out!, not that your bullshit wasn't apparent anyway.

Got a feeling Download will be -

Nickel back - SOAD - Iron Maiden

Now don't be sad, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

I hate nickelback and would be hugely disappointed if they took a headline slot

Their live show is actually pretty good. i bit my lip and went with pals to Newcastle a couple of years ago. It was a good trip in every way. I've done it now. I enjoyed it. Would I do it again, hell no. Everybody should see them once, but that is enough cheese to last a life time. I'll be at 2nd or 3rd if they do Download. Or even back at the van drowning my sorrows. They don't fit.

Saw them support Bon Jovi and they were alright just as that. Hate to break it to you but nor did Muse really, but they were still booked. Nickelback though, no!

They've been playing on Radio 1 all this week, think they have a new album out, from what I've heard on the radio it sound pretty heavy, one of the DJ's mentioned them being here next Summer for festivals and gigs.

Did you just make this up? They released an album last year that I hear even Nickelback fans thought they'd gone too pop/R&B and they haven't been played on R1 at all this week.

They definitely have, I don't listen to radio 1, but heard it the other day on the way to work early in the morning, they didn't play full songs, it was like 10-20 second samples and then they were bigging them up and saying that they are doing festivals/ gigs next summer.

Who likes volbeat? From what I hear they've got a higher position than people might expect

This interests me, I don't mind some of their stuff but just never seen a day with them on good enough. SOAD, Volbeat and Disturbed on the same day with another probably sells a day ticket but it won't happen.

    • I was assuming September in Stirling might have a different issue tbf in the form of it just pissing it down.
    • Yeah so many of mine seem to be just France v Spain in one semi and England/Brazil v Argentina in the other. But the fact those combos are the obvious ones mean it feels unlikely that'll happen because in World Cup history, you very rarely end up with what pre-tournament looks like the obvious final 4. We all see teams outperform and underperform. Which one is the fall guy is a different matter.   I've said elsewhere that for me, there's a hierarchy of Spain, France and Argentina as the 3 strongest looking, then England and Portugal, then Brazil and Germany, but that overall, they'd be the 7 likeliest to win. So I dunno, maybe this will be the time the Netherlands avenge the failure of total football in 1974 and achieve what they couldn't achieve through whatever the f**k Nigel de Jong was with his 2010 final karate moves.
    • Oh I think Infantino should resign. His handling of the whole WC process has been an utter shitshow. But you know. That would require him having integrity or something.
    • Good Charlotte would be fine third down or subbing. If they can get a bigger sub and still get GC, they’ll play third down.
