Personally I think it's doubtful The Prodigy will sub next year if they haven't this year. They are bigger than anything subbing at the minute and with lower ticket prices I'd imagine it'll be too much.

Added with another number 1 album and a likely arena tour to come. I'll admit enough that by the time Reading could have got them this year, Alt-J were possibly already in place so anything pull out of V like what lucky possibly suggested could have been too late, and in fairness they are always likely to want to play that slot a bit later than a sub slot with a little too much light maybe.

I'd have also thought they'd go straight in as an Other Stage headliner suggestion next year for Glasto.

Nah they've fallen to FR headliner which probably equates to like 6th on main. They ain't getting any bigger.

Their new album reached no. 5 and they're playing Ally Pally which is very abnormal for an FR headliner; I don't think they'll be 3rd on Main next year but I could see them getting a bigger slot next time they play
