I went to Hackney in 2012. They released two batches of tickets. First on Sunday morning and second on Tuesday morning. Didn't get a sniff on the Sunday, but the Tuesday sale was pretty painless. Different with just one sale day, but I do think a Tuesday sale will mean less people free to buy tickets

Got in once around 8.15am and managed to get two tickets for Saturday. Wife then got through about 10 minutes later but it was showing as 'tickets not available'. We live in Norwich and this was just after Grimshaw said they were still available in that area. Reckon they are all gone now.

Going Sunday, Taylor best be good to justify the hotel price I've just paid :(

Got Saturday tickets and maybe Sunday depending on if anyone needs my brother's spare. What's people's best guess for Sat headliner, I've not read this thread?

Edit: God Mumford would be depressing. Is there any chance of Muse? Foos would be sweet, too.

Yeah Mumfords are my best guess. Foos tour dates would point towards them but I reckon they've done it too often..

Fair enough :P Imagine there'll be a strong second stage headliner, tho then again last year the second stage headliners were Example and Kasabian so maybe not.. :prankster:

Haha yeah, Muse/Foos on main or Prodigy on 2nd would be nice. I'm sure I can give my ticket to someone in Norwich if it's something I don't wanna see.

Lot of my friends on Facebook managed to get tickets, some for both days.

The city is basically split between two council's and they allocated over half the tickets to Norwich City Council post codes. I live in Broadland District Council and, although that covers an area within the city boundary, it was grouped in with the 20% allocation for the whole of the county. As expected, there's a lot of angry local people on Twitter and Facebook who didn't manage to get tickets.

Surprised Saturday didnt take much longer than Swift day, people are obviously optimistic that the organisers havent blown their budget on the pop headliner ala 2013/2011.

Its basically free, if you are into music at all (there will be at least one or two acts you enjoy) and live in the area/can get there and back cheaply you are going do it!

I felt a bit mean this morning. I was born and lived in Norfolk all my life however; moved up North 6 years ago. Had no intention of trying for tickets until I read on here the potential headliners for the Saturday (Swift ain't my thing!). All my Norfolk friends and family were trying (all have an NR postcode) and didn't get a peek- I sailed right through and had 6 booking pages open and managed to get tickets for the Saturday (using my Nan's address!). Went back for Sunday and they sold out at payment. None of my friends or family got any- oops!

Are we 100% sure Taylor Swift is headlining? Nothing on Radio 1 website, when they announced, twitter page or anything has said headliner. Surely they would have stated? I know she's big enough, but surely they would have said she's a headliner?

I know effects article says headline but in none of the press release from Radio 1 is 'headliner' mentioned.
