Sorry to hear this. 

 

My understanding was it was going to be released tail end of this year ready to go with live shoes next year. But I guess what happens will depend on Matt's recovery.

If that were the case, you’d imagine the album itself is virtually complete.

 

Guess they could still stick to that plan.

All being well with his recovery, he’d be OK to do shows next year on the new album run.

Yeah I think doing the shows solo instead of any re-aranging also probably supports this as this idea. 

 

Given that it's been several months since they showed that screenshot of Album 3 from there computer i recon at least the recording process will definitely be finished.  

 

Probably worth thinking that if they have a prominent slot at Glastonbury next year they would want to keep it being a fallow year afterwards

Drumsheds was supposed to be about 4 months after his op. 

He’s said about 6-8 weeks recovery plus aftercare, no idea what the after care part entails but in theory he has plenty of time for the show. 
 

If not it’ll be a solo show you’d imagine.

They’ve got about 8-9 shows to do this year.

You’d imagine a bit of break until Summer shows then. 

So in theory 8-9 solo shows (maybe even both of them fit and healthy to do the later ones in Nov/Dec). 
 

Then an album drop and Other stage headliners next year.

Yeah I think they are a very likely Other Stage headliner for next year.   I also feel that for Chase & Status -  but I doubt it will be both especially if Fred is a headliner -   we will have to wait and see.

Bicep could wait another year to be fair - they have just done 2 big slots this year

 

C&S and Fred have a lot more contrast too

To be honest I almost feel C&S could just about to the Pyramid headline slot. 

I'd love to see them get a chance to headline R & L to see if they could go up just one more gear. 

 

Certainly getting guest slots from acts like Stormzy Is going to help
