Last year someone posted on here about Parov Stellar. Thought his stuff sounded awesome but ended up missing him/them due to a horrible clash. I really like the idea of dancing to some Electro Swing at Glastonbury this year.

Got to admit, that while what I've heard sounds awesome, its not a genre I know that much about. Anybody got any recommendations and is there any body likely to play I should be checking out?

Gutted i didn't duscover Parov until after last year. Have often considered one of the electro swing nights at glastonbury but never made it. Hope to this year...

Nice one. Need to get myself down to the Genosys stage this year, looks like last years line up was full of legends. Hope to see him and Greg Wilson back there too.

Genosys kind of had the same problem as Arcadia for me: it looks stunning and always has great DJs playing, but after about ten minutes admiring it, I just wanted to wander off somewhere else instead.

I don't think outdoor places are great for DJs, unless it's set up like a proper stage like the Hell Stage.

They absolutely smashed it, the crowd in sonic were going mental, they looked really taken aback! Im not big on my electro swing but when the lineups released I can point out some decent acts & Djs

    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
    • Aren't they against touring?
    • If my memory serves me right, it was the other way round - when PS 2022 lineup was released it was already confirmed that she plays Barcelona in May.
    • Cheers! And yep looks identical to Green day's scheduling
    • Reading all the feedback with interest.  If there are now 75,000 tickets officially sold, plus who knows how many more people blagging in - then on the Friday evening and Saturday in particular, it's not ridiculous to suggest there's 50,000 people at Mordor, which is a stadium gig - except with much worse sight lines, an inferior PA, and far less bars and toilets. The Thursday evening in 2022 was of course infamous but on the Friday night for Beck I was trapped about 150m from the stage, surrounded by chatters, and with no prospect of getting nearer the stage.  With hindsight that was when I realised the fest had one way or another fundamentally changed.  Also noting on Reddit that some folk didn't enjoy the Cure or Gorillaz because the sets were "too long".  In future bands may be better received if they actually just play their top 10 Spotify songs then get back off the stage.
