Fleetwood Mac 2015

Can't see that. It'd just be the same Greatest Hits setlist they're doing on tour surely. Most of the crowd would be there for The Chain/Dreams/Landslide/Go Your Own Way/Don't Stop/Songbird so if they played too many album tracks in a row without any of those six breaking things up then people would start to drift away.

Think you have never seen the mighty boosh

Just for a moment this evening I thought I'd be posting a review on here. I'm working in Toronto and walking back passed the Canada Air Centre where FM are playing. Sold out but a security guard called over a couple of touts (!) who wanted $250 Canadian for tickets with face value of $170.

I won't pay either the tout's £150 or the original £100 for a gig but it does answer the "is Glastonbury too expensive?" Question.

  • 2 weeks later...

anyone live in Liverpool?

Mick Fleetwood, co founder of Fleetwood Mac, will do a Q&A at Oh Me Oh My next Tuesday, to mark the launch of his autobiography "Play On: Now, Then and Fleetwood Mac" which is released tomorrow.

Can anyone go and ask if he's playing Glastonbury?

It seems strange they are 'unavailable', given that no movements for their 2015 summer have been announced.

A Europe tour is definitely on the cards, so I reckon it's one of two things;

1. They simply want as much cash from their own arena tour

2. They don't like / have no desire to do festivals / prefer their own crowd

You can't keep being offered Glastonbury and turn it down.

I'm hugely disappointed, I thought this was the year.

I'm devastated for you mate. Id be gutted if one of my faves got teased in front of my face like the mac have for two years!

I reckon its a mix of 1 & 2. Glastonbury just means nothing to them I guess. Which is fair enough really.

3. They're exclusive somewhere else & Glasto haven't been able to work round it this time

I wouldn't worry just yet...Eavis is prone to waffle nonsense.

Also, can anyone point me in the direction of these 'odds' that articles such as the NME one keep referring to?

I quite fancy a flutter but can't actually find anywhere online to put money down, just articles with these lists of mythical odds!

I dunno, I dont think eavis would have said that if there was any chance. His waffle usually comes straight after the festival. This I suspect is pretty truthful.

More so because I'm taking my old man again this year - and he got me into the band. It felt like it was going to be the ultimate Saturday night!

Ce'st la vie, we'll have a great time anyway!

I know Ladbrookes had betting open recently(ish), tho i've no idea if it still is.

Be careful that you note all the terms - it's often the case that the bet is for a band to headline on a particular day.

And good luck. :)

(I'll only be betting if I have a sure-thing again :P)
