Friend of mine said they stopped letting people anywhere near the NME?

That's not the same as closing the arena. They restricted access into the NME tent, it was planned that way and they'd be happy doing it again if required.

The secret act is not, necessarily, arena sized.

It's just someone that they had in the "safety net".

Jon: We always get calls about a month before the festival from bands saying: 'You know how we said we didn’t want to play your festival, well now we're available and we really do." And I've had about 7 of those this year. And a couple of those are arena bands who wants to do secret shows or last minute things. So. No problem filling up the program.

XFM: This year, are any of those people who got in touch with you now playing it?

Jon: No not yet. But one of them will.

Jon: No, it's going to be a surprise.

I only just found out how to pronounce it.

Interesting that they've loads of replacements but when Crosses pulled out they just moved everyone up and put Lyger in at the foot of the bill.

They did bar about 2 songs at the Glasto secret set. It was pleasantly nostalgic, surprisingly. I reckon it'll be TDCC though

Thing is, subs tend to pull headliner sized crowds and I can't imagine a massive crowd to TDCC.
