So... TAFKAP wanted to play last year but pulled out due to a misconception that the festival's social media aspect was selling tickets using a potential appearance. He pulls out as a result (according to the NME article).

Too late for 2014,they seek to reassure him it's not the case. How do they prove it? Promise him that any appearance in 2015 won't be announced until the tickets are sold - and as we all know, prior to the balance window (and the resale) none of the tickets are actually sold.

So a promise not to reveal all until the end of April, after the resale. How do they keep it secret though? Easiest way is to keep everything secret. No mini poster, no self confirmations (apart from a couple of headliners). Hey TAFKAP, look how different it is this year! Look what we did... For you! We proved we want you for you, not your commercial appeal.

Now... It's May... The festival is sold out. We can release the geese...

P****'s name has barely been mentioned in the media... let alone on twitter or on here.

What if... WHAT IF the eavis family have done a secret crack down operation, a massive press conference in which Efests,NME, Gigwise, COS etc all attended and said " DO NOT RUMOUR OR DISCUSS P****, WE WILL GIVE YOU HINTS TO MADGE, COLDPLAY AND SWIFT SO YOU CAN KEEP MAKING ARTICLES... BUT NO PURPLE ONE!"
"We Actually think we could get him this year! So please don't jeopardise them for us!"

*Michael hands free tickets and a few brother's ciders, the fact that the sale sold out in 25 mins was because so many have been given to people in the biz to keep it quiet*.

*Puts on tin-foil hat* starts to get ready to go to bed.

Or they fed rumours of Madge, Coldplay and ACDC to steer the direction away from the P-man themselves rather than have a 'secret meeting'. More plausible and yet still a wee bit mental.

Yeah that happened, I was at the press conference.

Bob Harris was there as well.

It was held at Crossways with Daft Punk, Madonna and Jay Z all in attendance but Neil Lonsdale decided the carvery wasn't up to much and should be replaced with pie and mash.

I might be getting confused

Excellent.

I shall endeavour to use 'selfnosh' in one of the conference calls I've got tomorrow.

"Yes. I've updated the CR log and closed off the completed actions. AS have confirmed they have selfnoshed the IT configuration requirements".

Wonder if anyone will notice?

Hahahahaha!
