Quick, but not quite as quick as you'd expect. Big Ground tends to go first.

Based on last year, you'll probably be able to find space for a small 2 man tent, maybe a bit more than that. For some reason it wasn't anywhere near as crowded as some of the other fields despite being the most central.

It certainly looks like I'll be looking for a new home, then. Was hoping to make park home ground the standard yearly destination after such a good first year in 2013. I'm thinking dairy ground, pennard hill ground or oxlyers could all be suitable. Would any veterans care to make a recommendation from those three choices?

Very exciting :-D doesn't look like we'll be camping where we used to either, though it's still possible

The layout of the late night stuff seems much wiser can't wait to see how it works out

We had decided on Bushy this year (usually camp in Rivermead as have previously come by coach). Now worried about how much busier it will be with people not wanting to camp too close to Arcadia - we like a bit of space around our tent which we definitely got in Rivermead, but driving this year, two of us carrying tents etc for six people due to late arrivals, don't fancy lugging it all over to Rivermead. Gah!

Never camped in Pennards before, but thought id read something on here, wasnt it the bottom of Pennards that flooded one year, so the stopped people camping at the bottom, but is this the place theyve re-opened?

Hopefully Arcadia being moved away from Other will mean it can open earlier and have more acts playing.

Then more people will be able to experience being in the circle of speakers, rather than all cramming in to watch 2 DJs in a night.

Also concerned by the disappearance of Gully...

    • Reading all the feedback with interest.  If there are now 75,000 tickets officially sold, plus who knows how many more people blagging in - then on the Friday evening and Saturday in particular, it's not ridiculous to suggest there's 50,000 people at Mordor, which is a stadium gig - except with much worse sight lines, an inferior PA, and far less bars and toilets. The Thursday evening in 2022 was of course infamous but on the Friday night for Beck I was trapped about 150m from the stage, surrounded by chatters, and with no prospect of getting nearer the stage.  With hindsight that was when I realised the fest had one way or another fundamentally changed.  Also noting on Reddit that some folk didn't enjoy the Cure or Gorillaz because the sets were "too long".  In future bands may be better received if they actually just play their top 10 Spotify songs then get back off the stage.
    • Has Glastonbury already got council permission for that 5 year run?
    • This keeps being mentionned but it only happened because Dua's Europe Tour was rescheduled due to Covid. Dua's arena show was initially planned for October 2021 but got rescheduled to May 2022 a month after the PS2022 lineup was announced.   I hope Massive Attack and Doja get to come back. I guess it'll depend whether they have a summer tour planned next year.
    • Solo album on the way for the singer of a certain band.  Il leave the name of the act out and see if anyone listening can guess....  its er rather obvious lol
