Isn't the a science behind 'the more flavorful and darker the spirit the worse the hangover' pretty sure it had something to do with alcohol types.

I got a litre of Bacardi white rum to make Cuba libres and mojitos icost £16 from sainsburys which I thought was quite good for 1L

I'm the opposite, vodka always makes me feel like shit the day after. I'm not too bad on Rum & Tequila

Sainsburys has the 1 litre Morgans spice gold for £18 at the moment

Uhm I know I usually object to Strongbow and Fosters £10 for 20 cans is too good a deal for me to pass up so got 40 cans. Probably going to drink it during the world cup but may swing back down and get some for glasto if I'm still too poor for nice drinks. Morrisons BTW

Bought 4 crates of Stella & a bottle of Vodka today. Alls I need now is a bag of pear drops, which will be pounded to smithereens then inserted into the Vodka, yumm.

I'm on lookout for welsh farmhouse scrumpy ... They sell at our local tescos in bandy 3l boxes for £7 but not in stock at moment. I live close to brewery, but they only do 40 litre boxes there at £57 Saw me through the festival last year, but out of the box it looks a bit like a urinary leg bag. Pretty close in taste to ciderbus medium sweet. I believe Westons have boxes too at morrisons.

I've recently, as in Sunday, discovered sherry. Marvelous stuff. Will be buying a bottle to decant into plastic for glasto for deff.

After a few cocktails at the weekend I've decided to see if I can make a mojito shot. Currently got some chopped up limes and mint in a bottle of white rum hoping to infuse some flavour. Will add some sugar later. Has anyone tried anything like this before? Not sure how long the infusing should take?!
