Matt42
Is there no chance she’s back? Ngl I really was looking forward to her. I think she’s going to be a bit of a myth on the touring circuit though.
Chapple12345
Fantastic album, I think I prefer it to Chemtrails but Born to Die will always be my favourite. Also Arcadia is easily one of my songs of the year, absolutely stunning

Unfortunately she just did an instagram live chat a few hours ago and said she wasn't touring. Obviously doesn't rule it out for the future entirely, but 😔
dentalplan
She'll tour again. The year before the thing she did a European festival run and a US tour, which featured lots of special guests and stuff. She's really not shy of playing shows - I guess finding the right time at the moment is all it is.
jyoung
Had the album on repeat the last few days. It's an absolute peach. Black Bathing Suit is up there with her very best.

I'm guessing they have a massive tombola they use to select this week's "20 Best By..." artist and he just gets lumped with whatever comes out. WestCountryGirl
A few thoughts: - Really chuffed to see Love get some love. Think it is oft overlooked but a significant favourite of mine. - Inclusion of Lust for Life reminded me of the demo version. If anyone hasn't heard it, you should: - Can't argue with no.1 either. Difficult to explain just how transportive that track is for me. Will never ever tire of hearing it, and as soon as I hear those bells, it can't be skipped. Ddiamondd
Can't argue with that top spot though. AP often lands the artist's evident best song around no.7-3 for arbitrary reasons, but Video Games is so obviously the out-and-out #1. I wouldn't blink at this stage if it was included in a top 50 greatest songs of all time type rundown. If anything, I'd be vexed if it was left off. Matt42
In some way I think Mariners Apartment Complex is my favourite track of hers. I really feel like a main character in some Americana movie whenever I listen to it.

dentalplan
The album Born to Die is ten years old this month. Makes you think about the ride it’s been since then. I think this past decade following Lana must be what tracking the Stones or Dylan during their imperious phases must have been like. To have those twenty songs, which only scrape the surface of what strength in depth she actually has, in that period is just exceptional. She’s an all-timer for sure. Padjeq
Great list, although trying not to think about the omission of both Chemtrails and Born to Die. Video Games though, I remember the first time I heard it, and saw her, when she performed it on Jools Holland. I believe it was her first ever televised appearance. The nerves and anxiety just add to the whole thing. I was properly taken aback at the time and she became an instant favourite.
Padjeq
I've put them all, from 20 down to 1, into a spotify playlist if anyone wants to have easy access: Favourite fact is Fame Academy winner David Sneddon is the main writer on National Anthem.
