The new album is ridiculous. Banger after banger.

Not sure I'd call any Lana songs bangers, but the album is fucking great. Not sure how well it will tramsfer to the pymild though, seems more of a put your headphones on, lay in bed and feel stuff kind of album to me but there we go

If I get dragged along to some hoary old shite for the benefit of keeping the group together then I reserve the right to roast seven bells out of it.

If thats the case the group would probably rather you fucked off and watched something else that you enjoy. People who use the term "roasting" aren't half as funny as they think they are. If you're at the back anything goes but people up the front should be mindful of the fact that those around them are probably fans there to enjoy it. Even if its boring like Lana.

Looking at a few NFR tour reviews.

A sparse, folky set isn't  going to be a guaranteed votewinner.

A very interesting review. Despite LDR having a strong set of songs you do wonder if both the songs and Lana's performing style are really best suited t the size of venues that her popularity demands. As fascinating as I find NFR in particular, I think Lana's set has the most potential for boom or bust. The Pyramid is a big field and I have my doubts as to whether Lana will reach more than those corralled in front of the sound desk.

I’m not worried. I feel like with Lana you’ve got to drink the kool aid otherwise it doesn’t work for you.

I know it sounds cultish, and it’s probably not the best marketing strategy, but I don’t think she’s really here to satisfy casual fans or people a bit curious. You’ve got to be all in or not bother.

I’m gonna be down the front and she can do what she likes tbh.
