I actually do wonder if they're a bit big for Green Man now, though? They headlined years ago didn't they and they're undoubtedly bigger. Last year was Fleet Foxes, War on Drugs and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.

They are bigger than the typical headliner there but it's certainly not unheard of for fests like that to get one headliner above their usual stature. More so with EOTR but that's a fair bit later in the year than their current dates have them around.

They'd definitely be a big headliner by GM's standards (maybe biggest ever?) but not so outrageously big that it's not on the cards at all. Although I wouldn't really be entertaining the idea if not for that tweet.

Capacity is very small, about 5k I think?

It'll sell out very quickly I'd imagine.

OK. I’ll buy tickets and sell them if I can’t make it.

Cheers for the heads up.

Would you be able to PM me the pre-sale link please?

I’m in two minds as to whether to get tickets to the MCR gig.

50/50 as to whether I can go, do we reckon it’ll sell out? What’s the capacity there?

ive read its about 8000 - you would think it would sell out quite quick on friday with it being thier only announced date

Fleet Foxes had headlined Latitude the year before and The War on Drugs played a pretty similar run of venues on their tour last year to The National and are headlining the O2 next month. They're a bit bigger than those two but it's not a huge leap, and of course when they've done Latitude, APE and Glastonbury so recently, everything else they could play is about Green Man's size or smaller.
