Mr.Tease
Firefox seems to be struggling with page refresh already. Chrome is working much faster. Last year it was the other way around! I wonder why.
siblin
There's really no point. Essentially, at the moment, there's three booths for tickets, and your computer will try to get to any of them. By putting one of those in, it will only be directed to one of them, hence decreasing your chances. The reason it worked last year was because See was directing people down a certain route, thus leaving one of the booths empty. For certain operating systems this isnt necessarily true. You could be caching a DNS entry to a heavily loaded server that you cant escape from, constantly hammering it whilst other servers are merrily plodding away with capacity to spare. Mr.Tease
http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/Event/GLASTONBURY-2014-DEPOSITS/Worthy-Farm/800000 I'm no expert, but I'm not sure it's worth risking guessing the possible page- you have to weight up whether the split second it will save you is worth the risk of it being the wrong link. musky
Please guys, do not edit your hosts file. Last year was a one off cock up, and you'll just decrease your chances by messing about with it. On second thoughts, go ahead.

MadFrankie
Give it time, they are just plugging the holes before they push the 'go live' button. I've got a feeling the links will work after that again.
angelin
I'm just getting the usual page with the tweets on it
Penrhos
Definitely - after what happened last year. I work for a major retailer and we have a team that checks social media for loopholes (especially around the sales) and plugs them ASAP.
