You doubt that Outkast could headline? Even though they are headlining everywhere else and Sziget is a festival that had MIKA headline last year?

hahaha, I had no idea that was the case man! In standard terms, you wouldnt think Outkast are headline 'material'. And like you mentioned somewhere on this thread a while ago, the attendance numbers were down last year, so maybe the bookers have learnt a lesson booking bands such as Mika as headline?

Check facebook. Sziget just posted saying we will found out the first names before the end of the week. Sick.

tomorrow the first annocncment of Lowlands in Holland which this year is the same week as Sziget

also there are already few names at Frequency & Highfield so maybe some of them will be at Sziget

(QOTSA,Placebo,Frank Turner,Blink 182)

really hope that there will be some good rock bands more than last year and that it won't become pop & dance festival..

Well, the thing is with Mika is that he's massive in Italy- he judges X-Factor over there. He actually drew a much bigger crowd than Biffy Clyro did.

I'm sure it will be Outkast announced this week. You know, whatever. And in typical Sziget style, that will be the only headliner announced.

You have to buy day tickets separately for day -1 and 0. They cost around 25 euros.

If you buy the weekly ticket with camping you already have those days included. You have to buy em separately only if you buy the 5 days non camping ticket

Yeah that happened in 2011 (I bet tickets were more than 20£ for Prince though) but last year we got some crap Hungarian singers who played on the Main Stage for day -1 and 0 and tickets were 20£... I doubt someone "big" like Prince will headline these days again!

Queens of the stone age,Skrillex,Imagine dragons, are playing Lowlands so any of those are a good shout for Sziget. Still not tempting me so far....

Yeah, taking into consideration the timing of the announcement, It'd say it's extremely likely that it'll be Outkast plus a few non-headline bands.

I believe that Sziget first names will be preety much the same..

Who would you recomend flying with from UK. I see Ryan air and BA are my two options. I've flown Ryan air to Prague before which was ok. Is it worth paying the extra for BA?

Seen them all before but I'd see them again if nothing else was on I suppose... Hope the announcement gives us a few names and not just one or two.
