Yeah I always find a tonne of smaller acts that I'm interested in but not enough of the bigger acts that actually get the money out of you. :P

For me I probably just about have enough, I just don't fancy camping with a load of 17 year old's.

The skints into Ghostpoet into AWOLNATION into Kwabs is going to be a decent venture.... Then gaslight.

See mine would The Skints, Against Me! then it's between Kwabs and Gaslight, I like more Gaslight but I'm intrigued by Kwabs sound.

Saw Arcane Roots last night and it looks and they said the only festivals they're playing are the ones they're announced for. Also I not really relevant, but some scrawny kid tried to start on my as well afterwards and I like to think that all the lessons I learned in banter on eFests saved me

Checked out The Bots and I think I have partly filled the gap in my Friday, don't seem like much of a Lock Up band though. Either way, I don't mind. Smith Street Band are decent too so I might catch them if they don't clash with Porter.

I think it just sounds like their other stuff, except with electric guitars instead of banjos and shit. It kind of just takes away their individuality I guess, whether you think it's shite or not at least it was a bit different.

Also, I'm gonna check out Moose Blood, The Bots, Parquet Courts and Ho99o9 because they're getting decent reviews. Any other smaller bands, that I probably haven't heard of, that I should give a listen to? (Is there usually a thread for this?)

Youth Man, Hawk Eyes and Queen Kwong off the top of my head.

Assuming you've listened to Mini Mansions and Turbowolf before.

i would honestly say wait till Grievances but if you're gonna, listen to Astraea first

How long til it's out? I've got a fair amount of stuff to occupy myself til then.

Cheers. Listened to Turbowolf, but not got round to Mini Mansions' album yet. Somehow not even heard any of the singles even though everyone's been banging on about that Vertigo for a while.

Yeah I need to listen to a few of these acts. Ho99o9, Black Peaks, Youth Man and Black Foxxes are seem good so I'll check them out further

Do you already listen to Moose Blood? They seem like your sort of thing but can't recall if you've mentioned them. Either way, I really really like them going by what I've heard so far. Kind of like early YM@6 meets Brand New.

    • belated thanks for this ended up going, was a good evening and a great venue with a cracking beer selection (give the festival a few tips on that). Never been in before despite reasonably local.       Main takeaways from the film (as someone who didnt go for much later). The festival has changes a lot since then apart from the Green Fields that looked the exact same.  Me and my mate both agreed that Shambala is today than Glastonbury.   Cool piece of merch aswell.
