today innit?

No idea, that's why I was asking because I wasn't sure, can't see that they have specified a day anywhere and usually they'd say what day/time. The last I saw was R&L tweet that the announcement was this week.

Please let The Story So Far be announced as the new album has grown on me quite a bit and I'm really enjoying it now. Also wouldn't mind Four Year Strong and Rolo Tomassi being announced as they have albums coming out next week (not like it will make any difference if they play or not)

Prodigy playing at Manchester central? Didn't even know they still had gigs there. That gig would be nuts if its all standing

Likewise, apparently the acoustics are w*nk. But they'll have done it as they won't want 2/3 of the crowd to be sitting down as would be the case at the arena. Would make for a very good atmosphere indeed!

It'd be good if they brought gigs back there properly. Never been and it'd be good to have a venue that can host the sort of gigs that aren't big enough to sell out the Arena but do sell out the Apollo in minutes. Looking at setlist.fm it seems they only did December gigs there, for whatever reason, before it stopped hosting gigs.

Full tour in December is with public enemy supporting. Will be a good gig.

On a Reading note I have very low expectations for tomorrow

Probably a good thing as it'll only be smaller acts anyway.

Taking the prestigious opening slot on the Main Stage, the alter-ego of hardcore punk band The Bronx takes to the stage… it’s the return of Mariachi El Bronx!

Added to the BBC/NME Radio 1 Stage is a trio of debuts to the festival. The Struts will be treating crowds to their potent mix of indie and glam rock as found on last years ‘Everybody Wants’, Chicago-natives Twin Peaks will be bring their furious brand of garage punk, while Shura, one of the hottest acts of 2015, will be drawing in the crowds with her smooth electro-pop.

Joining this year’s lineup on the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage are Australian hitmaker Hayden James, German deep-house wizard Ferdinand Weber, a very special DJ set from DJ Fresh, Irish favourites Riptide Movement, live electronic duo Maribou State, pop starlet Petite Meller and The Six.

Over at the BBC Radio 1Xtra Stage, groundbreaking urban acts are the name of the game. Seamlessly blending 60s soul with 80s pop, Remi Miles will provide the opening vibes for the stage. One of 2015’s rap success stories Young Thug will bring his take on dark, brooding rap, while DJ duo Star.Onealso join the lineup to add their eclectic touch to the weekend.

Smashing their way through to The Pit/Lock Up stages, we’ve got a whole host of names to come, including Bo Ningen, Skinny Lister, As It Is and No Devotion. Then, Mariachi El Bronx put down the trumpets and pick up the electric guitars and return to their hardcore roots as The Bronx.

The Festival Republic Stage has always been the place to catch new, upcoming talent and so far 2015 has seen one of its best line-ups so far. WithSunset Sons, Neon Waltz, Spring King, Seether and The Last Internationale added, it gets better still!

No Don Broco, f**king liars  Mariachi El Bronx is pretty cool, but they should have just got The Bronx.

Like this... "Then, Mariachi El Bronx put down the trumpets and pick up the electric guitars and return to their hardcore roots as The Bronx"

Skinny Lister are cool, be good to see them.

    • Going with Oxfam.  Just booked my ferry today.  Looking forward!
    • The Radio Dept.?! That's a surprise to me, they haven't toured in like 8 years. Hopefully they will announce some more shows.
