Sounds like they've stripped away the gimmicks this tour, thankfully. Nice to see most of the live favourites still in the setlist, though Tunnels and Keep the Car Running will be missed. Put one of them in for Neon Bible.

Can't wait for Manchester now!

How you can have recorded Keep The Car Running and not play it every time is astounding. Many lessr band would have it as the only song people knew and would close with it every time. Shows the strength of their back catalogue.

I take a very dim view of the exclusion of Tunnels. They're welcome to play setlist switcheroo, it keeps things exciting, but Tunnels, No Cars Go and Sprawl II need to be untouchable.

Sprawl II and Power Out are the two untouchables for me. Tunnels and Keep the Car Running would definitely be in my ideal setlist, though. Annoying that they weren't played at Prima.

I presume you assume Wake Up is safe?

Power Out, Sprawl II, and No Cars Go for me. Oh and Haiti if they play the album version.

I wouldn't count your chickens just yet.  This is just the pre-tour.  Time for plenty of gimmicks.

Wouldn't be surprised if this stage in the round thing is carried throughout the tour.  I do wonder how economical that is though - must be far more expensive than a standard set up and takes away a fair few standing tickets.

I'd fully scrap Sprawl II for Antichrist Television Blues.

I'd also like to see We Used To Wait reappear this tour, that was the one song I missed the most moving away from the Suburbs era.

Untouchables for me -

Tunnels

Power Out

Reflektor

No Cars Go

Wake Up

Add Rebellion and I think you're right. Power Out => Rebellion is always so badass

To be fair I can't actually remember any of their 2014 set. And I was sober. Guess that says something, I was slightly disappointed tbh.

I remember* it being absolutely incredible, although I was the total opposite of sober.

*dont't actually remember much of it at all - just that I loved every second.

Sounds a bit like me with SFA in 2015. Ask me how good it was and I'll tell you it was unbelievable. Ask me to recall any of it, and I don't remember any of it specifically.

Maybe it was because it was the first time I'd seen AF, but I couldn't fault that 2014 set. Reflektor's keyboard breakdown was incredible, the Suburbs was beautiful. I remember it, but I was absolutely spannered mind!

It's a great song on record but Regine really didn't do herself any favours back in 2014

It'll probably sound like that every time they play it. She's not a brilliant singer but she's just infectiously enthusiastic, and that's pretty much how she sings it on record too. One of my highlights of the set in 2014.
