CTO
If you really must wash at Glastonbury then you might be interested in this;http://www.decathlon.co.uk/20-litre-solar-camping-shower-frendo-id_5585501.html I took one of these last year. It wasn't amazing and I had to pay (by making breakfast pot noodles), the tallest member of our group to hold it above me each morning Got some very odd looks from people whilst I was having a freezing cold shower..............All that being said though, I did have a very brief shower every day and I reckon it made a big difference to how I felt by Sunday evening..... Seldom Seen Kid
Tiger in Grand Central Birmingham has opened. For £3 you can get those covers that tradespeople put on their feet when in your house, but with a funky pattern. Might be useful for those who prefer trainers. Also the name festivalfødder is the perfect name to describe landfill indie like The Subways,We're due to get a Tiger in Preston soon, so might see if they have any decent festie offerings. (not personally a trainer wearer, but intrigued to see what else they have)

LondonTom
Its a rather brilliant tent! I miss the standing room so much: Not been able to use it for a couple of years coming by myself on the coach...but maybe next year

scaryclaireyfairy
It's a thing of beauty. Any time I see one or similar pitched near me, I have my beady eye on it all Monday just in case they're rich, lazy feckers that are going to leave it. But it seems when one has found a great tent, one never leaves it behind. As it should be.
incident
This comes with my strongest recommendation - Helinox Chair One - £45 from Blacks / Millets / Ultimate Outdoors (all essentially the same company) Far, far better than any other camping chair on the market - packs smaller + lighter, and supports heavier loads. I've never seen it below £70 before. The catch is they've only got the Yellow one left but at that price I can live with that. Just don't line them up in rows like a barrier. Chairs with that kind of framework / bracket construction don't tend to last long with our lot. People drop in to them like they are settee's with the inevitable stress failure resulting in thier demise. I've lost count of the number of broken ones I've taken home from various festivals. A friend scavanged seven chairs for me at last years Glastonbury and not one of them survives. I have now started buying far more sturdy (and heavier) chairs for festivals off ebay. However, it's easy when you can just pluck them out of your campervan and set them up on the spot. I don't do Glastonbury in the campervan though so can see the appeal of the lightweight nature. It's just that if you go off for a piss someone end up flopping in to your chair anyway.
incident
To be fair, the Helinox design does seem more durable than the standard frame chairs you get sold at the Festival and most camping stores. You still need to treat them with care, and so it sounds like it might not be suitable for your group, but for me I love that it folds down small & light enough to fit in my day bag so I can carry it around the Festival without it being a burden. Yoghurt on a Stick
I bought two moon chairs like these thinking they would be the dogs for comfort; Unfortunately I was on one when it ever so gently collapsed leaving me sitting on the floor. I then had the other one out when a load of us were camping this year celebrating my birthday. I looked to my right to see the person sitting in it also ever so gently be lowered to the ground as the chair collapsed. And guess what - I don't even think he noticed that he had been 'lowered' to ground level he was that pissed. He just carried on talking away as if nothing had happened.

Only thing if you've not seen one is that they are small low chairs, not full size. Despite that I was surprised at how comfortable it was and considered getting a backup when I saw how cheap they had gotten. Decided £45 is a lot of beer and will stick with one. I must confess that I do do a bit of CV porn every now and again too. What I really like doing though is looking at old Optare single decker buses for sale and dreaming about converting one to a campervan.

I think it must be the flopping action that does it. It's got to be something as there's plenty of discarded broken ones around the site on Monday morning. Just to point out that I bring the broken ones we have back home with me. My back garden is sprinkled with them. Unfortunately I can't bring myself to call it art so I really must put the lot out of the front of my house for the scrap metal man to do his bit with them. Maybe this post will motivate me to do it. And maybe not.

I use an Anker one like that and its amazing.
