I need a new tent this year. Mine got trashed when my son took it to Reading last year :( If anyone comes across any 2-3 man tent related bargains be sure to let us all know.

Not on offer at the moment but we bought a couple of 4 mans from Halfords (perfect for 2 people not 4) and they have been great. We got them on offer at £29.99, currently at £50 but I still think they are worth it.

Easy to erect, small footprint, light, have done a couple wet festis no problemo, 2 bedroom, space bit in the middle.

Anyone recommend any decent waterproof jackets? Fed up of the shit ponchos I've been buying from poundworld for the lastb 4 glastonbury's...

got a peter storm light waterproof jacket from one of the major camping shops last year, but i can't remember which. It wasn't expensive and is just the job. Plain colours.

have a look out for similar offers. they sound like an expensive brand but this wasnt. Dont go too cheap or you will just be disappointed. Poncho's are a huge no for me and just dont do the job.

I bought this one last year and it served me really well. Total protection, not too sweaty inside, very easy to pack/unpack and carry around.

Ticked all the boxes.

I have a packaway jacket thing from Peter storm from millers I think about 20 quid. Will be taking it again this year

Millets have been quite sneaky here with that 20% off code. The sale tents have been marked up 20% by the looks of it. Some of the pop up tents were showing as £20 yesterday and now as £25 today and will go back down to £20 after the discount code is applied

Yeah, Eurohike Avon (my festival tent of choice) was in the 70s yesterday, today it's 90, so that cancels out the 20% saving. I used to work for a retailer who used these sort of tactics. It only puts me off spending with them to see them treat their customers so cynically.

Poor show Millets.
