well, I've just read that Rolf's sentence is already under review for being too lenient, presumably on the basis that it's one thing to abuse a few kids, but you can't abuse a whole nation's childhood memories. :P

(Regardless of whether a person thinks Rolf's sentence is too lenient or too harsh, I'm pretty sure it's very harsh compared to the sentences others have got for similar crimes)

As one of them was basically his character witness and refused to believe her friend I'm not exactly crushed by her losing out on some of her inheritance.

Oh c'mon, that's a bit harsh. She's not the first person to put greater trust in her parents than she will others.

I must say I feel really sad about the whole thing, firstly for the victims who've had to go through a f.ing awful ordeal, which I can't even imagine must be like to go through, and secondly I grew up with Rolf on the TV, and loved "Rolf's Cartoon Time" and he was a real idol of mine coz I loved Art and drawing etc....................what a total f.ing W.anker! I hope he and all the other low life like him would just do one......

Sorry rant over!

I hope you've all recovered from what was a totally excellent Glasto.....can't wait for next year brothers and sister!

Love and Peace

BAZZA!

    • Cheers! And yep looks identical to Green day's scheduling
    • Reading all the feedback with interest.  If there are now 75,000 tickets officially sold, plus who knows how many more people blagging in - then on the Friday evening and Saturday in particular, it's not ridiculous to suggest there's 50,000 people at Mordor, which is a stadium gig - except with much worse sight lines, an inferior PA, and far less bars and toilets. The Thursday evening in 2022 was of course infamous but on the Friday night for Beck I was trapped about 150m from the stage, surrounded by chatters, and with no prospect of getting nearer the stage.  With hindsight that was when I realised the fest had one way or another fundamentally changed.  Also noting on Reddit that some folk didn't enjoy the Cure or Gorillaz because the sets were "too long".  In future bands may be better received if they actually just play their top 10 Spotify songs then get back off the stage.
    • Has Glastonbury already got council permission for that 5 year run?
    • This keeps being mentionned but it only happened because Dua's Europe Tour was rescheduled due to Covid. Dua's arena show was initially planned for October 2021 but got rescheduled to May 2022 a month after the PS2022 lineup was announced.   I hope Massive Attack and Doja get to come back. I guess it'll depend whether they have a summer tour planned next year.
