Where's Rolf?

Oh I agree, but their support for rolf was nothing to do with that, it was based purely on an unwillingness to believe one of their childhood idols could possibly have been sat there with an erection while drawing pictures of those cartoons for kids

I dont recall any of them leaping to the defence of max clifford for example

Nope. Unless I have seen evidence I try and take innocent until proven guilty as a principle, even for people we already knew who were bastards like Jim Davidson and Max Clifford. I just wouldn't have entered a discussion about Max Clifford in the first place as he isn't playing Glastonbury...

What exactly is your point here? No, I did not want to believe that Rolf was a peado, but regardless of this outcome, I will still have the exact same reaction as before the next time somebody I like gets accused of being a peado. Would you rather we all just turned on people every time they have accusations leveled against them?

Nobody's defended Max Clifford because we have no reason to, he's a nob, but we're not saying he is a peado, innocent until proven guilty applied to him, too. The difference is that nobody cares enough about Max to point it out.

I remember in 2010 he had a 'glamourous' assistant who had to strut across stage shaking her arse everytime Rolf needed an instrument brought to him. He spent to whole time stating at her & leering. Obviously she was an adult, but it struck me at the time as a bit weird. Showed he was still a very sexual man.

I'm sad, but can't say I'm shocked

Of all of the cases this is the one I really want to fall apart. Still a bit shocked.

Considering the first arrest happened long ago there's been plenty of time for people to come forwards, so at least we can hope for no new horrors unlike the seemingly unending line of Saville victims. I just couldn't process that horror involving rolf

    • You don't have to pay for an additional ticket but the front barrier at least is all controlled by security and a lot of people stay in there for the bigger acts so if you don't get there early enough you risk not being in there.   There is an option you can pay to have fast lane access priority which they suggest you arrive 30 minutes before a headline show but the first two sections are still even for them based on capacity. I did read that it's going very corporate and becoming too money money which I agree to an extent. There are points on the two biggest stages where not only accessing these bits is priority but dedicated quicker and direct access points for them too....but at €225 for the weekend I'm not sure I want to be pulled into that. I went with Three Days Grace, Linkin Park and Maiden being my must sees so I did what I had to for the latter 2 to get in to where I needed to. You do that too much though and it'll cost you your overall enjoyment of other bands there.   As an overall experience, it's definitely overrated to what I thought it would be. I will vouch for the food being decent.

    • The left for some reason is rammed 90% of the time. It's kind of bizzare to me but try it next year! Any friends I've said it to have agreed.    I guess it might be because the entrance from Cupra side is wider so more people flood in there.
