I honestly don't knowwwww that I can cope with that!! I like to get on it from the minute I wake up at a festival, and u can't have any in ur tent?!?!? And gotta pay the festival prices at the bars!?! Anyone been successful sneaking alcohol in?!? It's seriously pissed me off :-(

you can take booze onto the car-park. just not through the gate into the festival. cases of beer will obviously be too big to smuggle, but spirits are easily smuggled. you'll find that people end up waking up and head to the car-park for an all-dayer then head into the festival later. theres usually a few good sound systems around in peoples cars if you dont mind approaching new people and having a chat and joining in.

you can sneak booze in, it's obviously just if you are one of the people that gets stopped and searched through belongings. However, they do sell warm Tuborg / warm Gaymers by the crate that you can take back to your tent. The price per crate if I remember right is about £45. You can't take what you buy in the arena back to the tents and you can't take what you buy by the tents into the arena. Or as above suggests you can go back to the car and get your drink on and crawl back to arena for the gates opening :D
