jump
Yeah but one date at the o2? You'd imagine they could do more, but maybe not touring just Quadrophenia. That said doesn't seem likely but you have to wonder where 12 headliners are going come from for Hyde Park and the Olympic gigs...
thesecretingredientiscrime
They'll add more o2 dates, there are 3 days before and after free. Wireless have always booked more sub sized headliners rather than tried and tested headliners aswell as the pop and dance headliners. jump
Wireless is Live Nation, which will be Olympic Park.

thesecretingredientiscrime
I know, hence why I was replying to the comment about the Olympic Park headliners...
jump
I don't think it was? It said "I'm assuming the next headliner will be...." Because of the use of the word next, in addition to Bon Jovi, (Olympic haven't announced yet), and the link to AEG, I assume it was on about Hyde park. jr1312
I was just asking what people's thoughts were on whether The Who would be one of the other Hyde Park headliners.
roadrunner66
http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/370569/London-concert-plans-for-David-Bowie It seems that according to Bowie's producer, he will do a one-off show that is likely to be held in either Wembley or Hyde Park. If it is Hyde Park, then we´ve got one more headliner.
thesecretingredientiscrime
You've completely lost me. Tom was talking about where all these headliners for the London shows (both Hyde Park & Olympic) will come from which I quoted and commented about Wireless to which you quoted and pointed out Wireless is at Olympic. eFestivals
I doubt about Leonard Cohen, he's already playing at The O2. In my opinion Van Morrison is a fair guess.what if we're not guessing?
zahidf
Cohen o2 gig not billed as exclusive, so a Hyde park gig is def a possibility
booties
Tom Pettys just announced his American dates ,he'd be free for the 6th or 7th July.
roadrunner66
After the disappointment that was the Hard Rock Calling announcement, it's obvious that they struggled to get better headliners. Springsteen is one of the biggest that a festival can have but I'm already seeing him at Wembley and I don't know any festival that has had the same headliner for 2 years in a row, they were obviously very desperate. Now I'm starting to get concerned about this new BST festival, they still need 5 headliners and there's only less than 4 months left to the festival. LondonTom
I've realized its a shit name for a festival really, I saw the Bon Jovi date advertised on the side of a bus yesterday...and it dawned on me how shit it is. Something like "The Hyde Park Summer Sessions" would have sounded ok! I very much Example will do it, as that might attract non white and poor folk to the area and dance acts were the ones most complained about. Muppetmark
sw4 is about the same capacity as Earls court so I doubt it's that, I still think example will do the third wireless day they keep hinting at
