nah, it's not a scam. The real benefit for Wychwood comes from having 200 'ambassadors' for its festival, who are likely to get people coming to the festival who wouldn't have otherwise come.

I'm quite tempted to buy a share for efestivals, tho I'd rather that efests didn't have a financial attachment to one festival if it's not got a financial attachment to every festival - so I won't be doing it. But I defo think it's a tempting offer.

yeah, perhaps. It's only really something that'll work tho for festivals which have spare capacity, so that the benefits a shareholder gets doesn't cut into the money the fest would make anyway.
