I wish more big acts would do this sort of loose stuff.

Their producer said “The album consists of covers of blues songs of Chicago. It was recorded live in the studio in just three days, with the musicians in a circle around the microphones. There was no retouching on the pieces. The record sounds very crude, very authentic. It captures the essence of what they are.” 

Also Clapton plays on the album. The filthy racist.

:lol: One of my mates has flown over for it, very jealous! Definitely sounds like the most upper class festival I've ever heard of though.. Michellin Star chef on site, wine tasting area. Wtf.

Channel 4 has today announced that it has acquired a new documentary on the legendary band, The Rolling Stones from Eagle Rock Entertainment.

The Rolling Stones Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America is a feature documentary that follows The Rolling Stones’ tour of early 2016 through 10 Latin American cities. The film combines electrifying live performances from across the tour and from their historic tour finale as the first ever rock band to perform in Havana, with an intimate insight into the world of The Rolling Stones.

The film is a road movie that celebrates the revolutionary power of Rock n Roll and chronicles the tour, local culture and unique bond that exists between the Latin American people and The Rolling Stones.

Throughout the film viewers will hear personal stories and insights from the band on their chemistry, what it is like to tour and perform for tens of thousands of adoring fans, and memories and influences of these cities over the past 50 years.

The Rolling Stones Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America is directed by Paul Dugdale, produced by Sam Bridger and was shot throughout February and March 2016, the film is produced by JA Digital in co-production with Eagle Rock Films for Eagle Rock Entertainment and Promotone and will air on Channel 4 later this year. The documentary was acquired by Jonny Rothery, Channel 4’s Commissioning Editor for Formats & Music.
