bamber
From pretty deep in the crates that one. So slow, it's arguably not house, but we did all dance to stuff that tempo and below once upon a time. fatyeti24
by coincidence, i was playing Aly Us last night, and Ten City (particularly that mix that starts with the strings) made a perfect start to my day. nice one Bambs. Aby
Where are you from? Are you a proper plassy scouser? You're not from somewhere like West Kirby or Hoylake are you. Haha, I live in London now but grew up in Wallasey
Nemo76
Just watching Leftfield with Afrika Bambataa live on NYE in 2001, and I have no words, it's just fkn amazing!!!

Mr. Cowbell
Haha, I live in London now but grew up in Wallasey If you're from Wallasey it's perfectly acceptable to call yourself a plassy scouser. I can't be having it from people who are from middle class wirral towns though. I had a watch of this the other day, some of Skream's mixing is absolutely atrocious but the track selection is of the highest order. Disclosure are quality though, that remix of Janet Jackson that they play is absolutely fantastic. Love it when the pillows come out and the feathers start to fly. Mr. Cowbell
I was just going through some old tunes and this absolute bad boy came smacking me in the face, all about the hook at 2:06, does anyone know who sampled it? I'm sure I've heard it in a more modern day track, I think it could maybe be Aeroplane? but I'm not sure.

Armand Van Helden sampled it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=8yOsIi2P3cU

willutalk
Not a fan of house music at all. Bit over rated IMO. The only dance music that I enjoy is the older stuff. E.g. The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk. And earlier Pendulum and The Prodigy. I did like Knife Party for a bit but when Rob Swire said that there would be no future Pendulum live shows I went off all House and Dub Step. LondonTom
you went off all house and dub step because there was going to be no more Pendulum live shows? You can't see how Pendulum could kill off entire genres of music?
fatyeti24
You can't see how Pendulum could kill off entire genres of music? well yes, now you mention it. i bought 'Hold Your Colour' (i think it was called that) and it pretty much killed off any desire i had for emo bass step* *i made that genre up cos i don't actually know what Pendulum's music was.
